Dismissal lanes

Without an initial lane, new arrivals stay in the school-wide manual queue until staff assign a lane. An initial lane may call eligible children automatically when its sequencing service is running.

Immediate calls eligible arrivals as they enter. Look-ahead calls the next configured number of arrivals. Batch waits for a full wave; at least 70% of the prior wave must have completed handoff before another wave. Staff can explicitly authorize a smaller final wave.

Safety holds and presence checks can stop calls. Changing lanes does not clear holds or authorize a handoff. Configuration changes may be blocked while a dismissal session is active.
